The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D is a 16-core desktop processor built on the Zen 5 (Granite Ridge) architecture for the AM5 socket. Thanks to AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT), core execution is doubled to 32 threads. The Ryzen 9 9950X3D features 128 MB of L3 cache and operates at a base clock of 4.3 GHz, boosting up to 5.7 GHz depending on the workload.
AMD manufactures the Ryzen 9 9950X3D on a 4 nm process. With an unlocked multiplier, overclocking is greatly simplified, allowing you to dial in your target frequencies with ease. The processor has a 170W TDP, requiring premium thermal solutions—AMD recommends liquid cooling for optimal performance. Cooler not included.

This AMD processor supports DDR5 memory with a dual-channel interface. The maximum officially supported memory speed is 5600 MT/s, but with overclocking (and compatible memory modules), you can push speeds even higher (recommended).
