What's New with AM5
The advanced technology behind the AM5 platform provides native power support of up to 170W, ensuring plenty of power for gaming, creating, and multitasking. It delivers support for the latest generation of components through the PCIe 5.0 platform, featuring 24 lanes directly through the processor socket and providing sequential read speeds that are 60% faster or more when using PCIe 5.0 storage devices—the highest of any platform in the industry. The new platform also introduces support for Wi-Fi 6E technology.
